Giorgio Vaselli is a partner of Giovannelli e Associati. Giorgio is specialised in domestic and international taxation and advises enterprises and private clients. He is experienced in advising alternative investment fund managers based either in Italy or abroad, on corporate finance deals (project finance, structured finance, debt restructuring) and in M&A deals; he also assists high net worth individuals, family offices and international sportsmen in tax panning, in setting-up of trusts and in relocations to Italy or abroad; in addition, he is expert of tax aspects of investments in crypto assets. Before joining Giovannelli e Associati, Giorgio has worked for fifteen years in leading Italian and international law firms. He lectures at the post graduates master’s degree in taxation of Il Sole 24 Ore Business School (Milan) and at the upper tier master’s degree in comparative private law at the University of Rome "La Sapienza". He speaks in tax seminars and conferences and is author of articles in tax matters in specialized publications and journals. Giorgio graduated in Law at the university of Bologna in 2005, earned an LL.M. in international taxation from the University of Leiden (Netherlands) in 2006 and an upper tier master’s degree in tax law at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in 2011.
