Vanessa Tollis Bio

Vanessa Tollis is a partner in Gide’s Tax team leading Gide's U.S. international tax practice in New York. Her practice focuses on U.S. international tax law, with a particular emphasis on cross-border transactions. She advises on the inbound and outbound U.S. tax aspects of financial transactions, securities offerings and securitisations, as well as on fund structures and cross-border investments. Vanessa advises European companies, including multiple CAC 40 companies, on the U.S. tax aspects of employee equity compensation plans, non-U.S. financial institutions, funds, and investors on a range of U.S. inbound and outbound tax issues, and high net worth individuals on tax compliance and disclosure issues. She also has considerable experience in non-tax transactions, including general corporate and secured transactions in the US. Vanessa is a graduate of Boston College Law School and a member of the New York and New Jersey bars. She is co-chair of the New York City Bar Committee on Taxation of Business Entities.
