Anne Tolila is a partner in Gide's Mergers & Acquisitions/Corporate practice. She is mainly involved in M&A transactions, particularly for public entities (State or strategic companies), and large industrial groups and also in private equity transactions, both for French and international clients (industrial companies or investment funds). Anne has also developed particular expertise in the healthcare sector and in privatisations. Anne has recently advised Eiffage on its acquisition of a minority stake in the SNEF Telecom group (May 2022), as well as on its bid to acquire the Equans group from Engie (unsuccessful candidate, November 2021); the MSC Group on the acquisition of Bolloré Africa Logistics from the Bolloré Group (2021 and ongoing); the French State on the reorganisation of Areva's capital (2021); CIRI on the sale of the Vale New Caledonia Group to the Trafigura Group (March 2021); BPI France on its acquisition of a minority stake in Cerba Group (June 2021); the French State regarding the changes undergone by EDF (2020-2021). Anne has also advised pharmaceutical group MSD on its various divestment projects (sale of the Segré site to TriRx and sale of the Mirabel site to Fareva) (2020); the DGE on the Ascoval takeover project (2020); the French State on negotiations with various pharmaceutical companies for the production and supply of potential vaccines against Covid-19, monitoring the end of the restructuring of Areva (2020), and the restructuring of EDF (2020); SNCF Réseau on its transformation into a limited company (debt component) (2019); a potential investor candidate in the privatisation of FDJ (2019); Naval Group on its merger with Fincantieri (2018), as well as on its acquisition of a stake in STX France (2017); the Société de Projets Industriels fund on a partnership with Alstom (2017); and Naval Group on its acquisition of a stake in Technicatome (2017). Anne has been ranked as a "leading individual - Mergers and Acquisitions" in Legal 500 EMEA 2022, and named in Legal 500 EMEA 2022 in Healthcare and Lifesciences: "Anne Tolila is extremely knowledgeable and is very creative in finding solutions that will work under French law and still satisfy all of our expectations. Anne holds a postgraduate degree in Business Law and International Taxation (HEC Paris Sud), and graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris - Section Economique et Financière (1991).
