Steven Talley is a partner in Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher’s Denver office. He is a member of the Corporate Transactions Practice Group. He works primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Talley has represented a number of public and private companies and private equity clients in connection with acquisitions and dispositions in numerous industries including telecommunications, high tech, manufacturing, and energy. Mr. Talley has been listed in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business each year since 2006. Mr. Talley received his law degree in 1991 from Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif, and an Articles Editor on the High Technology Law Journal. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Harvey Mudd College in 1984. In addition, he has taken a significant number of graduate-level economics courses at the Claremont Graduate School. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Talley was the manager of management information systems for a manufacturing company.
