Patrick Ledoux practice is focused on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions and disposals, as well as securities-related transactions. Legal 500 EMEA 2019 recommends Mr. Ledoux for Mergers and Acquisitions (tier 3) and describes him as a « key-practicionner. » Previous editions highlighted he is « highly considered ». Best Lawyers in France (2018-2021) also recommends him for Corporate law. Mr. Ledoux joined Gibson Dunn in November 2006 from the Paris office of a U.S. law firm where he had practiced for eight years. Admitted to the Paris Bar, Mr. Ledoux holds a PhD in corporate law. His thesis focused on the Shareholders’ Right to Vote, and was published in 2002. He received a DESS (post-graduate degree) in Business and Tax Law in 1996 and a masters’ degree in Business and Tax Law in 1995 both from the University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas. He has authored several articles on securities-related matters. He is fluent in French and English.
