Gianbattista Origoni Bio

GianBattista Origoni advises Italian and international clients on acquisitions, mergers, asset purchases and contributions, joint-ventures, stockholders' agreements and reorganisation and insolvency proceedings. He also acts in domestic and international arbitrations. After graduating in Law maxima cum laude from the University "Cattolica del Sacro Cuore" of Milan, he specialized at the Academy of International Law in The Hague, Netherlands, in American Law at the Salzburg Seminar and at the Columbia University of New York. Prior to founding the firm Gianni & Origoni which carries his name, GianBattista gained experience at a number of law firms in Italy and abroad including Dechert, Price & Rhoads in Philadelphia and Washington D.C.. He is a member of numerous legal associations: New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, International Bar Association, Officer of the Italian Branch of the International Law Association, Interpacific Bar Association, Union Internationale des Avocats, Association Européenne des Avocats, Associazione per gli Scambi Culturali tra Giuristi Italiani e Tedeschi, Associazione Internazionale Giuristi di Lingua Italiana, Centre Européen d'Arbitrage, American Arbitration Association, London Court of International Arbitration, Associazione Italiana per l'Arbitrato, Association of Attendees and Alumni of the Academy of International Law The Hague, and the International Association Defense Counsel.
