Specializes in merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions, services for commercial companies (including negotiation of strategic contracts related to operations) and legal aspects of financing processes for entrepreneurs. Maciej has over 20 years of experience in providing legal advice in M&A transactions, both on the seller's and buyer's sides, and on the side of both financial and strategic investors. Joined GESSEL as a trainee in December 2005. A member of the team continuously since March 2006, and a partner in GESSEL’s M&A practice since 2016. Much of his practice to date has been devoted to M&A transactions, both on the seller’s and buyer’s sides, and on the side of financial and strategic investors. Works with private equity and venture capital funds in the formation and raising of funds, acquisitions and exit transactions. His experience also includes coordinating work on due diligence projects. Has participated in a number of transactions and restructuring processes carried out for financial and industry investors, as well as in a number of infrastructure projects, including those related to the energy sector.
