For more than thirty years, Tim has represented businesses and business owners in complex and sophisticated commercial, corporate, and business transactions. Tim graduated with high honors from the University of Tennessee College of Law where he was selected to be a member of the Order of the Coif and served on the editorial board of the Tennessee Law Review. Mr. McLemore also earned a post-graduate law degree (LL.M) in Taxation from New York University School of Law. While there, he served as a Graduate Editor of the NYU Tax Law Review. For many years, Mr. McLemore served as an adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Tennessee College of Law teaching courses in taxation, contract drafting, the representation of entities, advocacy and legal writing. Mr. McLemore has been a frequent presenter at continuing education seminars, and serves on various boards, including Emerald Youth Foundation, Second Harvest Food Bank, and Emerald Charter Schools. Tim has previously served as a director of Knox Area Rescue Ministries and Knoxville’s Habitat for Humanity. Mr. McLemore was a member of the 2008 class of Leadership Knoxville and is a member at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. Mr. McLemore has been admitted to practice law in all Tennessee courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Tennessee, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. Tax Court, the U.S. Claims Court and the U.S. Supreme Court.
