Bio

Gianpaolo Scandone is a junior partner based in the Milan office. Gianpaolo’s practice mainly focuses on corporate and financial matters, including capital market transactions, domestic and cross – border mergers and acquisitions relating to listed and non-listed companies, private equity and joint venture deals. Gianpaolo also has experience in real estate transactions, with regard to the setting of investment funds and the transfer of real estate portfolios. Gianpaolo joined the firm in 2017. He graduated magna cum laude from the Federico II University Law School in Naples in 2005 and received an LL.M. degree from Columbia University Law School in 2011. Prior to joining the firm, he worked from 2005 to 2010 as an associate in the corporate law and capital market department of a leading Italian law firm and subsequently, from 2011 to 2016, as an associate in the Milan office of a leading international law firm, always focusing on corporate and financial matters. Gianpaolo is a member of the Milan Bar since February 2009. He is a native Italian speaker and is fluent in English.
