Álvaro is a partner in the Corporate/Commercial Department in Madrid. He joined Garrigues in 2000. His practice area is focused on corporate law advice, M&A, joint ventures and commercial contracts. He specializes in the energy industry. His practice and experience comprise M&A transactions, project development and specialized contracts in the electricity, gas and oil industries, as well as specific advice on the legislation applicable to these industries, with particular focus on renewable energy and energy transition. He has extensive international experience in cross-border transactions, particularly in Latin America. He speaks Spanish, English and French.
