Javier Romero-Girón Bio

Javier Romero-Girón is a partner in the commercial department of Garrigues (San Sebastián), where he has developed his professional career since joining the firm in 2001. He specialises in commercial law (specifically in corporate law and M&A) and real estate law. He has participated in complex M&A transactions, covering all types of sectors (including technology companies and start-ups). He has extensive experience in corporate advisory and has participated in numerous joint-venture transactions as well as in corporate reorganisations of national and international groups. He is also Secretary of the Board of Directors of several companies. Javier also has extensive experience in all legal aspects related to real estate investment (sale and purchase, sale and lease-back), property leasing, construction and real estate development and financing. He has advised on the development and sale of logistics assets, shopping centres and office buildings. Javier holds a law degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an LLM from the Instituto de Empresa.
