Bio

Gabriela Perez Sierra is a partner in the Banking, Finance and M&A departments, advising clients in cross-border financial and acquisition transactions, restructuring, fintech regulatory matters and investment transactions, as well general corporate matters assisting foreign companies in the setup of their operations in Mexico. She has advised both lenders and borrowers in project finance deals in many infrastructure sectors, including energy, gas, and telecommunications. In M&A, she has advised clients in transactions in various industries, including automotive, real estate, and fintech. A graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho she obtained an LL.M. from Duke University School of Law in 2012. She also worked as an International Associate in Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP’s New York office between 2012 and 2013. She has been ranked in IFLR1000, Legal 500 and Leaders League, and is a member of the Barra Mexicana de Abogados.
