Bio

Mary Kay Gaver concentrates her practice on real estate and business law, representing lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions, assisting landlords and tenants in the negotiation and management of leases and other agreements, and helping clients with the sale and purchase of real property and in all aspects of real estate development. Mary Kay launched her career at Gallagher nearly 30 years ago, representing lenders, regional developers, and tax credit investors in the development, financing, construction, and operation of market rate and low-income housing developments. Prior to rejoining the firm, Mary Kay worked for local firms, representing lenders in litigation, workouts, commercial financings, as well as regulatory matters and practicing business law. Mary Kay is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Loyola University Maryland. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association. A Pennsylvania resident, Mary Kay serves her community as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Southern Chester County and Historic Kennett Square, Inc. She also enjoys coaching the Kennett High School Mock Trial team. She was recognized as one of Main Line Today’s Top Lawyers for 2018 and 2019.
