Eduardo Garcia-Travesi is a partner in the Firm's Energy team. His practice is particularly focused on the electrical industry, where he is renowned for his hands-on approach and technical knowledge. He advises clients on legal matters related to the development, purchase and sale, and financing of energy projects (mainly from renewable sources), including the negotiation of power purchase agreements (PPAs), engineering contracts, procurement and construction (EPC), and operation and maintenance (O&M). He has represented a wide variety of participants, including generators, developers, financial institutions, equipment suppliers, and corporate energy users. Eduardo worked as a foreign associate in the office of Paul Hastings in Washington, DC He has a Master of Laws from the University of Austin, Texas, and a Law Degree from the Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, in Mexico City.
