Carlos Obregon is one of Mexico’s leading Corporate M&A and Capital Markets lawyers. He has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in complex and ground-breaking transactions in Mexico. Within his Mergers & Acquisitions practice, he represents private equity and specialized sector funds as well as strategic investors in the purchase of private businesses and assets within a wide range of economic sectors, including the pharmaceutical, media, financial, food services, education, and others. His Capital Markets and Fundraising expertise has led him to represent issuers, underwriters, managers, and others in public and private debt, equity, and quasi-equity offerings, including corporate bonds, government notes, CKDs, CERPIs, and FIBRAS.
