Bio

Arturo Perdomo enjoys practicing law. His practice combines sophisticated banking and financial law matters, including transactional and regulatory work, and mergers and acquisitions with emphasis in financial services sector. The latter has allowed him to contribute to strengthening the different specialization areas of the Firm. His client base includes a wide range of financial institutions, investment funds, institutional investors, and other players, regulated or unregulated, in the financial services sector, which he advises both in relation to special projects as well as in their day-to-day operations. Apart from working at the Firm, Arturo has lectured for many years and currently teaches the mergers and acquisitions postgraduate course at the Escuela Libre de Derecho. Likewise, he regularly involved in Pro Bono matters supporting civil organizations in Mexico. Arturo is partner of the Firm since 2002. He obtained his JD from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City and holds a master’s degree in Law from Northwestern University, School of Law. Before joining the Firm, he worked as international associate in the New York office of Mayer Brown. Due to his extensive experience advising clients in the financial sector, Arturo has been recognized as Band 2 in the 2023 Chambers Latin American Guide in the Banking and Finance practice. He is also recognized as an expert lawyer in The Legal 500 2023 Latin American Guide in the Banking & Finance and TMT-Fintech practices. The French publication Leaders League has also highlighted his work in the Fintech industry as expert in this field of practice. He is also recognized by Latin Lawyer and IFLR1000 as one of the leading practitioners in Mexico. He is member of the Galicia’s Compensation Committee.
