Kilian Helmreich is a partner of GOF and advises clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law. His practice is focused on domestic and cross-border private equity and M&A transactions where he has numerous years of experience. In addition, Kilian has broad expertise in restructurings and management equity programs. He primarily advises financial sponsors and domestic and international corporations. Kilian studied at the universities of Passau, Kiel, Nijmegen (The Netherlands) and Munich and completed his legal traineeship in Munich and London. Before joining GOF, Kilian worked from 2006 through 2015 in the areas of Corporate/M&A/Private Equity at Latham & Watkins LLP, where he was promoted partner in 2010. Prior to that, he worked at Baker & McKenzie in Frankfurt and Zurich (Switzerland) in the same areas. Kilian is listed in the German legal directory JUVE and The Legal 500 Germany 2015 as a frequently recommended lawyer for private equity.
