Since he began his professional practice in 1984, Alejandro Linares Cantillo has established himself as an expert in the legal industry in both the private and public sectors. Currently, he is a partner at the firm, and he is part of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Groups, focusing his practice on strategic advisory for international and local transactions. Alejandro was a Justice of the Constitutional Court of Colombia and has held significant leadership positions in the executive branch, including Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Legal Vice President of Ecopetrol. Additionally, he has served as a national and international arbitrator. In academia, he has been an adjunct professor of law at Universidad de Los Andes, Universidad del Rosario, Universidad del Norte (Barranquilla), among others.
