Lise Damelet, partner, heads the firm’s Competition & Compliance practice. She has developed a solid experience with companies of all sizes, both French and international, before French and European regulatory authorities and courts, with a particular focus on State aid and merger control. Her expertise covers a wide range of sectors including transport, energy, chemicals, the plastics industry, financial services, consumer products and facility management services. Her practice has been recognised by the 2021 ranking of Magazine Décideurs – Leaders League, notably in the “Excellent” category in the field of State aid. Prior to joining FTPA in 2020, Lise Damelet has practiced for 10 years at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in Paris. Lise is a member of the Association des Avocats Pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence (APDC) and of the Association Française d’Etude de la Concurrence (AFEC). Lise co-founded the Paris Bar Incubator and was named “European Young Innovative Lawyer” by the Financial Times in 2016. She is a member of the scientific committee of the Club des Juristes (Digital division). Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2007, Lise is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Lille (2001), the University of Lille II (Master in International & European Law, 2002) and the EDHEC Business School (2004).
