Bio

Boriana Guimberteau co-heads the intellectual property department of the law-firm FTPA. Boriana specialises in the protection, enforcement and infringement of trademarks, copyright and designs. She has particular expertise in the fashion, telecoms, media, tech, cosmetics and luxury sectors. Her practice involves contentious and non-contentious IP matters. Boriana is member of the Paris bar since 2004. Before joining FTPA, Boriana gained valuable in-house experience having worked at LVMH (Perfume and Cosmetics division). In addition to being an active member in a range of professional associations, she often contributes to articles and papers related to the protection of IP assets, as well as to round-tables or presentations related to new tech (blockchain, IA etc.). Boriana Guimberteau is a member of the Brands and Innovation Committee of the INTA (International Trademark Association – Enforcement Committee 2012-2013, Non-Traditionnal Trademarks Committee 2014-2015, Unreal Campaign Committee 2016-2017), the APRAM (Association of Legal Practitioners in Trademarks and Designs) and the French group of the AIPPI.
