Eric advises a diverse range of clients across multiple industries concerning their intellectual property (IP) needs, including securing ownership, licensing, infringement, dispute resolution, and enforcement of patents, trademarks, and copyrights. He assists domestic and international manufacturers of consumer goods, toys, chemical products, electronics, medical equipment, packaging, sporting equipment, power tools, safety equipment, wire and cable products, internet-of-things (IOT), and others. Eric’s extensive experience in managing the international patent and trademark portfolios of corporate clients gives him a valuable global perspective on the establishment, preservation, defense, and commercialization of proprietary IP rights. His approach is highly tailored to his clients’ specific objectives, with an emphasis on delivering optimal results and value. In addition, Eric has supported patent litigation cases in both federal and International Trade Commission courts. Prior to his legal career, Eric worked as an applications engineer in the industrial control industry. This experience provides him with a deep understanding of the technical aspects and business realities of his clients’ technologies and commercialization initiatives.
