Rachel Wolfenden is a private equity partner whose practice focuses on providing strategic counsel to European and US financial investor clients and their portfolio companies in all aspects of complex transactions. She has pan-European cross-sector experience on the full range of corporate matters, including leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures, minority equity and growth investments, restructurings, management equity plans and carve-out transactions, as well as related advisory work. She has guided private equity investments across multiple industry sectors, including healthcare, financial services, technology, manufacturing and consumer and retail. Rachel also counsels corporate clients in connection with cross-border M&A transactions and general corporate advisory and governance matters. Prior to joining Fried Frank, Rachel was a partner at another international law firm. Rachel features in Private Equity International’s 2023 40 under 40: Future Leaders of Private Equity - Lawyers list, which highlights lawyers at the vanguard of PE transactions and fund formation. Rachel is also recognized by Financial News in their Rising Stars of Legal Services 2023 list, which highlights talented lawyers under the age of 40 who work in Europe.
