Laurie Levin is a founding partner, and the Chair of the Firm’s Banking & Corporate Finance Group. She practices in the areas of secured lending, real estate and corporate law. Her clients include domestic and international banks, private equity companies, developers, property managers, business owners, franchisees and high net worth individuals. She heads the firm’s corporate finance practice, consisting of real estate, corporate and asset-based financing, construction financing, loan sales, loan workouts and foreclosures. She is also a member of the firm’s bankruptcy, restructuring and creditors’ rights group. Additionally, she handles a wide variety of office, industrial and retail leasing, and represents a number of private equity investors in the acquisition and disposition of large retail chains, private placements and other investments. Laurie received her B.A. in music and her M.M. in piano studies from The Juilliard School. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law, where she was the Senior Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review and earned the Senior Prize for academic achievement. Prior to joining Fox Swibel, she was a partner at Hopkins & Sutter, LLP.
