Henry Gallivan practices primarily in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate and business law, and corporate finance. A large portion of his practice is devoted to commercial transactions such as business acquisitions and sales, mergers, corporate reorganizations and private offerings of securities. Henry has experience representing a wide range of buyers and sellers in M&A transactions, including publicly held corporations, private equity firms, entrepreneurs and family businesses. Henry advises organizations of all sizes in a broad range of corporate and business matters, including drafting and negotiating contracts, entity formation and structuring, and business ownership, control and management issues. In that role, Henry serves as outside general counsel and a trusted advisor for a number of business clients. He is focused on helping businesses at all stages, from formation and raising capital through an exit event or succession plan. He is also a member of the firm's Emerging Companies & Venture Capital team, which focuses on providing affordable legal services to start-ups, entrepreneurs, early-stage companies and other emerging businesses. In addition, Henry represents financial institutions and borrowers in commercial loans and other financing transactions.
