Christopher Pizzo Bio

Chair of Fox Rothschild’s Insurance Practice Group, Chris maintains a broad corporate, regulatory and transactional practice focused on the insurance industry. Regularly advising carriers, brokers, third party-service providers, InsurTech developers, captive insurers and their ownership on a wide variety of corporate matters, Chris combines a solutions-oriented approach with in-depth knowledge of the insurance market. He is frequently retained to handle mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and governance issues, regulatory compliance, reinsurance and other commercial transactions. Prior to joining Fox Rothschild, Chris was a partner in the corporate practice of a national law firm. Earlier in his career, he was the managing partner of a multistate law firm and held executive roles in the legal department of a national insurance services provider. During law school, Chris was the senior editor of a law journal, president of the Moot Court Board and a member of the Order of the Barristers.
