James Collings is an employment Partner and manages a talented team of employment specialists focused on delivering responsive, professional, and practically focused support to clients in looking after their most important asset – their people. He has a particular interest in complex employee relations matters, NMW compliance, senior executive disputes, and restructuring, as well as providing employment tribunal support (including tribunal advocacy) for large scale consumer and retail business across the UK. James prides himself on ensuring that he and his team deliver a personalised service which is tailored towards clients who place a high value on receiving expert, commercially focussed, and accessible advice with a high standard of service in a way which supports his clients with the upskilling of their own internal HR and ER teams (including via delivery of bespoke in-house training) whilst driving down the risk of costly litigation. Having enjoyed a season of snowboarding the Canadian Rockies prior to starting his legal training, James loves nothing more than getting out on the slopes when the opportunity permits.
