Rebecca Chilton represents developers, private and regulated lenders, sponsors, and tax credit and other equity investors in connection with development, construction, corporate and project financing, and mergers and acquisitions for a wide range of energy, commercial real estate, and other infrastructure projects with a particular focus on renewable energy and sustainable enterprises. Her experience in renewable energy covers a particularly broad array of technologies, from solar and storage to wind, waste-to-energy, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle infrastructure. In addition to renewable energy developers, Rebecca also supports small financial institutions in developing their renewables platforms and making loans and tax credit investments in renewable energy projects, as well as private debt funds lending outside the renewables space. Rebecca has extensive in-house and consulting experience with renewable energy developers and lenders, including building three of the largest USDA lending programs in the nation, giving her a uniquely rich understanding of the legal, financial, operational, and programmatic goals of renewable energy companies, financial institutions, and other sustainable businesses.
