I am a corporate lawyer specialising in public and private M&A. I work across a range of sectors with a particular interest in ecommerce and related software and services. Having spent over ten years working in the Magic Circle, I have extensive experience of public M&A and the Takeover Code. I enjoy the speed and complexity of a public takeover and have acted for numerous Main Market and AIM listed targets, as well as bidders, on both schemes of arrangement and contractual offers. I also have over 15 years' experience advising on private M&A transactions. I regularly act for entrepreneurs selling their businesses – I enjoy building a strong working relationship with individual entrepreneurs and helping them through the minefield of an M&A process to achieve what is often a life-changing event. I equally enjoy acting for acquisitive corporates, particularly on repeat acquisitions where we can work together to streamline their M&A process. My practice spans many sectors. In recent years, I have developed a specialisation in ecommerce, ecommerce software, SaaS and related services and Amazon aggregation M&A. I act for a number of ecommerce and Amazon aggregators consolidating Amazon businesses, other ecommerce businesses and ecommerce software and SaaS roll-ups. I also act for sellers and founders of Amazon FBA brands, other DTC ecommerce brands and ecommerce SaaS and software businesses. While I regularly work on domestic transactions, I also enjoy the challenge and additional complexity that comes with cross-border M&A. I have a degree in Modern Languages and am fluent in Italian.
