Ms. France has more than 25 years of experience relating to intellectual property law and transactions including, negotiating and drafting hundreds of agreements relating to the development, use and commercialization of patents, trademarks, copyrights and rights of publicity, providing strategic advice and counseling in connection with complex trademark and copyright matters particularly relating to the use, clearance, registration and enforcement of trademarks, and serving as trademark counsel in trademark litigation matters before the federal courts and inter partes proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. France is responsible for all trademark and copyright matters in the United States for a famous automobile manufacturer including, the prosecution of 100+ trademark registrations and 3500+ enforcement matters. She has negotiated and drafted numerous agreements relating to trademarks such as, sponsorship agreements with various professional sports teams, race events and celebrity charity events, license agreements with automotive enthusiast clubs and merchandising agreements covering a variety of products. In addition, she reviews advertising campaigns to ensure compliance with trademark, copyright and advertising laws. Ms. France is a member of the International Trademark Association. She has spoken on a variety of topics relating to trademarks and copyrights, written articles on trademark issues, and served as a briefing judge for the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition held by the International Trademark Association.
