Bio

Ms. Redmond specializes in commercial real estate finance, representing real estate investment trusts, commercial banks, life insurance companies, finance companies and other institutional and non-institutional lenders as well as local and national commercial real estate developers. Ms. Redmond represents clients in a wide-range of complex commercial real estate transactions, restructures, leasing, acquisitions and dispositions and master servicing work for securitized loans. She also serves as counsel to institutional and non-institutional investors and loan servicers in the origination, syndication, servicing, restructuring and enforcement of securitized, construction, mezzanine, portfolio and development loans secured by real and personal property collateral located throughout the United States. Her financial institutions experience includes working as Assistant General Counsel with Bank of America, N.A. In addition, she represents commercial real estate developers in connection with the acquisition, the development and the disposition of multifamily, retail, office, hotel and industrial properties. In 1996, Ms. Redmond earned her Juris Doctor from Mercer University where she served as Class President. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1993 from the University of Georgia. Ms. Redmond serves on the Board of Directors for The Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte and is an active member of several community and professional organizations including the Legal Committee – The Peninsula Club; Board of Directors – Peninsula Property Owners Association, American Bar Association and the Mecklenburg County Bar. Ms. Redmond also founded and runs a national 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Cookies For A Cause, that has donated tens of thousands of dollars to charities all over the United States.
