Bio

Dolph joined FisherBroyles as a principal partner in 2014. His practice specialties include significant experience with conservation easements, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Dolph has also worked on environmental issues, automobile and truck dealership law and transactions, healthcare law and transactions, permitting with environmental agencies, antitrust issues, real estate, Brownfield development projects and “green” development projects. He has worked on several private placements of equity, debt and mezzanine capital transactions. Dolph is one of the premiere attorneys in the nation with respect to conservation easements. He has placed tens of thousands of acres into conservation easements in several states for the enjoyment of generations to come and for the tax benefits available under applicable Federal and state laws for the landowner and/or for investors. Dolph has also worked over much of his career buying and selling companies. He has been counsel for several hundred of these transactions from one million to one billion dollars. As Associate General Counsel for BFI he handled several significant business transaction from buying and selling companies, to permitting waste and recycling facilities, to managing significant amounts of litigation, and overseeing the legal issues for the entire East Coast. He has been an active speaker on conservation easements, mergers and acquisitions as well as other business transactions over the years and has also trained individual companies on antitrust compliance. Prior to joining Fisher Broyles, Dolph was a partner in a law firm in downtown Atlanta and as well as one in Marietta, Georgia . Dolph started his career in-house where he was an Associate General Counsel for Browning-Ferris Industries for 8 years and prior to that was the primary Corporate Finance attorney for Tenneco Inc. in Houston, Texas. Dolph and his wife Judi, live in Atlanta, and have two children, Blair and Cameron, both of whom attend Duke University. In his spare time, Dolph enjoys attending sporting events, working out, reading, collecting first edition books, going to the movies and spending time with his family.
