David’s practice is concentrated in business litigation, involving a wide range of contractual and business tort issues. He has represented businesses and individuals, both plaintiffs and defendants, in cases involving breach of contract; insurance defense; insurance coverage; trade secrets; non-competition and non-disclosure agreements; fiduciary duties; negligent hiring and supervision; professional negligence; and other claims. His clients come from a number of business sectors, including insurance, financial services, computer software, telecommunications, manufacturing, sales, and various other professions. Other practice areas for David include administrative law (including for public employees); constitutional law; and church disputes. He has extensive trial, appellate, arbitration, and mediation experience in numerous state and federal courts and ADR forums. David began his legal career as a staff attorney for a federal district court judge in Atlanta. He has worked for one of the largest insurance defense law firms in the country, as well as for one of the most well-respected insurance defense and trial firms in Atlanta. He has also worked for smaller firms in Georgia and Idaho. David is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court and several United States Courts of Appeal and District Courts, as well as in the state of Georgia.
