Ms. Brooks-Bullock is a business transactional attorney who understands clients’ needs for prompt and efficient high-quality legal services. Her practice is focused on commercial real estate transactions including leasing, financing, acquisitions and dispositions. She assists clients with purchases and sales of real estate, office and retail leases, and mortgage/security deed financing. She is experienced in commercial real estate deals involving multi-family properties, shopping centers, medical offices and laboratories, condominiums, offices, retail, restaurants, mixed-use and other commercial properties. In retail leasing, Ms. Brooks-Bullock represents tenants of retail leases such as regional retailers with multiple locations, restaurants, and pop-up stores. She also represents shopping center owners and ground lessors of pad sites. In office leasing, Ms. Brooks-Bullock represents office tenants and sub-tenants as well as landlords. As a banker in her prior career, Ms. Brooks-Bullock is familiar with lenders’ underwriting concerns and hot-button issues. This knowledge benefits both lenders and borrowers by streamlining the path to closing. She has substantial experience with deals financed by institutional lenders such as banks, as well as life companies and the SBA. Ms. Brooks-Bullock has several multi-family owner/operators and investors as clients. She is a trusted advisor who works together with clients’ brokers and accountants to help build clients’ portfolios. Ms. Brooks-Bullock also assists clients with general corporate representation in such areas as entity formation such as limited liability companies and land trusts, contract preparation and negotiation, corporate governance and dissolution. She also has substantial experience in assisting minority-owned and/or woman-owned businesses with the Minority Business Enterprise/Women’s Business Enterprise certification process at the local, state and federal levels. Ms. Brooks-Bullock is licensed in Georgia and New Jersey and she actively represents clients in both jurisdictions.
