Eli Blechman Bio

Eli Blechman is a partner in FISCHER’s Litigation and Insolvency & Restructuring practices. Mr. Blechman focuses on corporate and commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on class actions and derivative lawsuits. Within this framework, he provides comprehensive legal support to the clients of the practice concerning corporate restructuring and bankruptcy matters under the Israeli Insolvency Law, the Economic Rehabilitation Law, and Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Blechman represents clients before various Israeli courts and jurisdictions as well as in arbitration and mediation proceedings. Prior to joining FISCHER, Mr. Blechman spent five years working at the New York offices of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, in the Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department, where he routinely provided legal consultation on complex corporate restructuring matters, including Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 cases.
