I have primarily advised leading venture capital firms in the Spanish market on their investments and divestitures. This has allowed me to become very familiar with the specific needs of this type of client and their preferred purchase and co-investment structures. I have also taken part in several M&A transactions, advising international clients with a presence in different jurisdictions, coordinating the work of other offices and collaborating firms in LATAM, Europe and Asia. In recent years, I have taken part in numerous M&A transactions of great importance in the infrastructure sector, having also assumed the position of Company Secretary for the Board of Directors of several of the companies in question, providing advice to shareholders and the Board of Directors on corporate matters. I have also gained a wealth of experience in M&A transactions in the renewable energy sector, having advised both domestic developers and international investment funds on buying portfolios from and selling portfolios to Ready to Build. My career progressed at the Jones Day (Of Counsel for the M&A and Private Equity Department) international firm, until I joined Fieldfisher as a Partner. I studied at the CEU San Pablo University in Madrid, a Law Degree specialising in European Union Law, and I have a Master of Advanced Studies in European Union Law at University of Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne. I can advise my clients in Spanish, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
