Leif Herzog Bio

My focus is on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions and joint ventures, in particular in the chemical, healthcare and automotive sectors, where I advise both strategic and private equity investors as well as high net worth individuals. In addition, I have extensive experience in venture capital transactions, domestic and cross-border corporate restructurings as well as in structuring and implementing multinational carve-outs. In the context of transactions, I also advise on the structuring and implementation of employee participation programs. I completed my law studies in Münster. Subsequently I received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the University of Edinburgh. Before joining Fieldfisher, I worked for several national and international commercial law firms. In addition, I gained an in-depth insight into the practical workflows of clients through several in-house secondments. I am a member of the German-British Lawyers Association. I advise my clients in German and English.
