Jonathan Sagot represents clients in complex corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and financings. He advises tech-enabled emerging companies throughout their growth lifecycle, from their formation to series financings to exit. In his varied background, Jonathan has represented companies and acted as general outside counsel for clients in the artificial intelligence and semi-conductor, software, digital health, life sciences, proptech, blockchain, advertising, communications, media, e-commerce, food and beverage, and fashion and beauty industries. Jonathan provides practical, results-oriented advice to help clients solve their commercial and legal issues, and strives to position clients for success over the long term. He also represents and advises angel investors, venture capital firms, corporate venture funds and strategic acquirers investing in emerging growth companies. Jonathan is a frequent guest lecturer at New York University on a variety of topics, including entrepreneurship and venture financings. Prior to joining Fenwick, Jonathan was a partner in the corporate group of a leading law firm.
