Michael D. Hellman is a Martindale-Hubbell AV rated attorney and has been practicing law since 1991. Mike joined the Firm in 1991, became a partner in 1998 and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. Mike’s practice has always been devoted exclusively to litigation. Mike is an experienced litigator with an emphasis on trust litigation, business disputes, breach of contract actions, and real estate disputes. Mike received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1986 (B.A. in Economics-Business) and his law degree from University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1991. He is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, the United States District Court for the Central District of California and the United States Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Mike is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Coast Chapter, and has in the past served on the California State Bar Committee on Administration of Justice. He has also served as Vice President and Director of the Barristers’ Club of Santa Barbara, a member of the Santa Barbara Chapter of the American Inns of Court, an Alternate Delegate to the Conference of Delegates, and as a voluntary Settlement Master to the Santa Barbara Superior Court.
