Craig Granet has been practicing law since 1976, starting his career at a large law firm in San Francisco. He joined the Firm in 1981, becoming a partner in 1984, and is a member of the Firm’s Litigation Department. Craig’s practice has always focused on complex civil litigation, primarily in the following two areas: Real Property Litigation, including property disputes, land use challenges, and environmental contamination issues; and Business and Commercial Litigation, including breach of contract actions, wrongful termination claims, telecommunications disputes and intellectual property matters. Craig received his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction and Departmental Honors from Stanford University in 1973, and received his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree Cum Laude from Harvard Law School in 1976. Craig is admitted to practice before the California State Courts, and the United States District Courts for the Central and Northern Districts of California. Craig served as a Master of the William L. Gordon Inn of Court from 1998 through 2001. He has been active in the Santa Barbara community, including serving on the Boards of Directors of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association, the Barristers’ Club of Santa Barbara, the George “Ben” Page Youth Center, the Santa Barbara Jewish Federation, and the Santa Barbara Flash Girls Basketball Program, and, for eight years, has served as the Nation Chief of the Montecito YMCA Y-Guides Program.
