Taisha Lewis corporate commercial and securities law practice is focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Taisha advises clients on a wide range of transactional matters, including domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private placements, public offerings, and securities regulatory compliance. Taisha also advises clients on corporate governance matters, including shareholder arrangements and management fiduciary duties. In addition to her practice, Taisha is actively involved in the legal and broader community, currently serving as a mentor with the Black Law Students Association and on the board of a not-for-profit organization. Taisha is a past member of the Ontario Bar Association’s Business Law Section Executive and the Young Lawyers Division East Executive. Taisha has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 Award Recipient by the National Bar Association, which celebrates the top Black lawyers in the U.S. under the age of 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, including in advocacy, innovation, vision, leadership and overall legal and community involvement. Taisha has also been recognized as One to Watch in Securities Law in Toronto by the 2022 Best Lawyers in Canada guide.
