Andrew Haikal Bio

Andrew Haikal is a lawyer with our Tax Law group. He practices in tax planning and corporate taxation. Andrew participates in the analysis and implementation of complex tax strategies in connection with major commercial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions and cross-border reorganizations. Andrew holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Université de Montréal (with honours) and a Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. He also completed a master’s degree in Canadian tax law from HEC Montréal and a master’s degree in US tax law from the New York University School of Law. Before joining Fasken, Andrew practised with a tax law group in a large international firm.
