Over the course of his nearly forty year career, Thomas Kearns has represented developers, owners, investors, tenants, lenders, and borrowers with respect to virtually every aspect of commercial real estate law. His experience includes acquisitions and dispositions of improved and unimproved property; development of office, retail, industrial, residential, and mixed use projects; mortgage lending, loan workouts, and foreclosures; and office, industrial, and retail leasing. As a 20-year member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, Tom has participated in the cutting edge of commercial real estate lending transactions. The common thread in Tom’s approach to every transaction is his commitment to seek a pragmatic solution that meets each client’s objectives efficiently. Tom’s clients range from large institutions financing multi-hundred million dollar projects to small businesses leasing office space for their expanding operations. Many clients have worked with Tom for decades as he has guided them through times of economic prosperity and times of economic distress.
