Andrés is a member of the Financial and Corporate Area, specializing in capital markets, sovereign debt, corporate law, derivatives, securities, M & As, banking law, insurance and reinsurance, as well as other corporate operations. Andrés is a financial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience in international operations in different sectors. He has participated in public and private securities issues in the international market (including IPOs and issues under Regulation S and Rule 144-A), purchase of companies (including companies listed through OPAs), financing and development of projects with special concentration in energy sectors (oil & gas, mining and electricity) and infrastructure (health, ports and roads), asset backed financing (including securitizations), unions and banking regulation. His professional career has been highlighted by the most prestigious international specialized publications such as Chambers and Partners, Legal 500, IFLR 1000, LACCA, Leaders League and Best Lawyers. Before joining Rubio Leguía Normand, Andrés served as a partner of Muñiz, Olaya, Meléndez, Castro, Ono & Herrera. He was previously a Senior Associate in Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas and a consultant to the International Monetary Fund.
