Mitesh Chauhan is a Director in the Direct Tax practice at Economic Laws Practice. Mitesh is a Chartered Accountant and has over 14 years of experience in the field of M&A tax and advisory. He has been actively involved in tax due diligence and international/cross-border tax structuring for private equity and strategic M&A transactions. Mitesh has advised large number of Indian and multinational clients on restructurings, mergers and acquisitions including inbound and outbound transactions, succession planning, family settlement, and other arrangements. He has also been involved in reorganization of promoter family interests and family settlement engagements. Mitesh has extensive experience across sectors including real estate, telecom, chemicals & pharmaceuticals, defence & aerospace, IT & ITes, NBFCs, ports & logistics, media & entertainment. Mitesh has earlier served with PwC, KPMG, Dhruva Advisors & Pravin P Shah & Co. Mitesh is regularly invited as a speaker at various conferences, webinars and conclaves.
