Josef Schmidt Bio

Josef Schmidt, LL.M. (Harvard), advises primarily on capital markets law, M&A transactions, and restructuring. Josef Schmidt previously worked as an associate at E+H in the Banking + Finance and Corporate + M&A practice groups. Before returning to E+H, he gained international experience as a lawyer in London at the renowned New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Josef Schmidt completed a double degree in law and business administration at the University of Vienna and the Vienna University of Economics and Business, respectively, graduating with distinction. As part of his business studies, Josef Schmidt spent a semester at the University of Texas at Austin. He completed his postgraduate LL.M. at the elite Harvard University. He is admitted to the bar in Austria and New York.
