Dean Gould Bio

Dean Gould offers comprehensive corporate and M&A guidance to healthcare industry clients and Dental Service Organizations (DSOs). A wide range of healthcare clients and providers rely on Dean for support on strategic transactions and negotiations including acquisitions, mergers, recapitalizations, and divestitures. Dean is in tune with the needs of his clients, and he helps them form regulatory compliant physician practice management structures and establish equity incentive options for key employees. While in law school, Dean served as a judicial intern with U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas, The Honorable Ken Tapscott, and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. In his final year, Dean served as a student attorney in the W.W. Caruth Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic, representing abused and neglected children. He also served as the Air Law Symposium Editor for the SMU Law Review Association and as president of the Red Raider Law Society. Prior to his legal career, Dean was a middle school history teacher.
