Anne-Sylvie Vassenaix-Paxton specialises in mergers and acquisitions, company law, contract law, intellectual property, data protection and new technologies. Anne-Sylvie represents various businesses in their M&A transactions, domestic and international joint ventures, as well as in their investment activities, particularly in the energy, industrial and real estate sectors. Anne-Sylvie has long-standing experience advising companies, SMEs, SMIs and large corporations, at every stage of their development, in France and abroad, including equity participation, corporate governance, transfer of undertaking, creation of business partnerships, real estate transactions, creation or shutdown of French and foreign companies, business restructuring and company buyout in turnaround or judicial winding-up situations. She regularly advises large software houses, IT services providers and e-commerce platforms in a wide range of information technology issues. Anne-Sylvie has also developed a particular expertise in data protection, including compliance with GDPR and the ePrivacy directive, and the resolution of e-commerce issues.
