David Lawrence Bio

Mr. Lawrence has been with the Durkin law firm since 1990 and became a partner in 1999. While at Rutgers Law School, Mr. Lawrence was appointed and served as a member of the Advanced Moot Court Board. After law school, Mr. Lawrence served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County (Brooklyn, N.Y.) District Attorney’s Office until 1990. In that capacity, Mr. Lawrence served as a trial attorney in the Narcotics Bureau, Supreme Court Bureau and Transit Auto Bureau and tried more than 25 jury trials to verdict. While at Durkin & Durkin, LLC, Mr. Lawrence has tried cases to verdict in the State and Federal Courts of New York and New Jersey. Mr. Lawrence limits his practice to commercial litigation, as well as defense of significant personal-injury claims arising out of all types of trucking and motor-vehicle accidents, industrial accidents, product liability and premises-liability actions.
