Alan Hawkins is a seasoned corporate and securities attorney with seventeen years of professional experience in transactional, corporate finance, venture capital, and general corporate matters. With a focus on assisting start-ups and growth companies, Hawkins possesses specialized expertise in public and private securities offerings, venture capital financial transactions and stock transaction structure, corporate formation and reorganization, and investment fund structuring. A native English speaker, Alan Hawkins also boasts full bilingual fluency in both Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. He pursued his studies in law, language, and Latin American business at the University of Florida, where he obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Furthermore, he is licensed to practice law in the state of Florida. Alan's areas of practice include corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, the Latin American business environment, business development, venture capital, and private and registered offerings. Alan Hawkins' educational background comprises a J.D. from the University of Florida School of Law, earned in 2005, and a B.A. in Spanish and German Letters from Fort Lewis College, completed in 2000. In addition to his professional achievements, Alan actively participates in various professional associations, including the Florida Bar Association. He is also recognized as a Rotary International Paul Harris Fellow.
