Aparajit Bhattacharya focus areas of practice are Corporate Commercial, M&A and Private Equity. He is also a member of the Infrastructure team with a specific focus on renewable energy. In his legal experience of more than two decades, he has led diverse assignments and transactions in the M&A and Private Equity space and has advised clients on many cross-border transactions that relate to foreign investment in India, outbound investments, entry strategies, M&A, equity investments, joint ventures, management buyouts and corporate restructuring. He has worked across varied segments of commerce and industry, including in industrials/manufacturing, pharma, life sciences and healthcare, consumer products and durables, retail, financial services, infrastructure and renewable energy, services and trading, chemicals, financial services, hospitality, F&B, IT, technology and software, ecommerce etc. Aparajit previously worked at HSA Advocates, Trilegal and Hindustan Unilever Limited. Aparajit is a pioneer in the area of green credits and the carbon market. He extended his legal counsel to one of the first CDM projects in India and has advised some of the largest CDM transitions in the world.
